Parallel Alignments with opposing directions - Incorrect Cross Sections

I am experincing a problem whereby the Cross Sections and Cross Section Editor is displaying a road corridor incorrectly when parallel and opposing alignments are involved.

In any instance where a road corridor (or two separate cooridors) includes two parallel alignments (separate or offset) in opposing directions, the cross sections and cross section editor display the opposing alignment's sections mirrored about its line or symmetry. Two examples are intersection design when the curb return alignment is extended any distance beyond the tangent point in the opposite direction to the centerline alignment. Another example is the design of cloverleaf ramps where ramps with opposing alignment become parallel.

It appears that the corridor is designed correctly since when a surface is created, the slope arrows slope in the correct direction, however, the cross sections mirror the opposing assembly for the secondary alignment. Anybody else experience this issue and is there a solution.

Thanks for any advice.
