I'm finishing off explanatory documentation for our office and I've just realised that I've never seen a Parabolic Curve Extension in a Profile. While that's not surprising given the nature of our usual work, I can't seem to generate one with any of the VC's - Circular, Sym. Para. or Asym. Para. All I can create is Line Extensions.
Could someone please enlighten me as to how generate one? Or even what it is?
You will see these when you draw fixed vertical curves and then a free line
connecting them. If the free line would normally trim the curves, that's
where your extension would start. There are other ways of doing this, but
you can try this method.
