The default Options dialog box size is too small - go to the upper right in
the dialog box and look for an arrow to move the columns over and you'll see
Files appear at the far left.

What happened to the Options, files tab in C3d2008? Where do I set search
paths now? Maybe it's been gone and I am just now noticing?
