Opening a File

Normally when I go to open a file I just click the file folder at the top of the window and then the window opens up that allows me to browse through folders to find the file I want. However today when I brought up AutoCAD and clicked the file folder, all I got in the command line was "Enter name of drawing to open:". Therefore I was not able to open the file that I needed to.

I attempted putting in the name of the file to no avail. I also tried to put in the path on my computer to the file and got the same results. Hopefully someone can direct me to how to switch this back or fix it.

Check to see if FILEDIA is set to 1. Also check CMDDIA is 1.

If you have this happen again. Enter a tilde [ ~ ] at the command line and the browse box will open.
