One point two descriptions and two elevations

Well I finally had to create a account as I have surprisingly enough not found a solution to my problem.

I am trying to assign two different descriptions to one point. The point is on "Lip of Gutter" (LOG), and is used to create a surface. I would like to assign a "Face of Curb" (FOC) description and elevation to this point as well; only for the purpose of in field viewing (ie. the point does not need two elevations for surface creation etc). I have manually created the FOC description where  the elevation of 637.525 is calculated by adding the constant 0.175m of height to the LOG elevation.

Is there anyway to add this 0.175 constant to the point elevation and display it as a description following the FOC text through a Point Label Style automatically?

I have seen this on a plan before, and I can't imagine the drafter edited each point label individually.

Thanks in advance, and for all the answers I found on these forums perviously.

Iain

Yes, look for expressions. If you do a Google search you will find lots of examples of them. I'd do a search for "Top of Curb Expression Civil 3D" and you will either find a blog post or forum post showing how to do it.

You can't have one point actually HAVE two elevations.  But you can use an EXPRESSION to have it add the curb height to the gutter elevation.  Then both the gutter elevation and top of curb can be shown.

Not sure if you want the gap in your label, but I usually get rid of it by setting the attachment point as middle center and then make sure not to have any offsets on the attachment object. If you do want it, add the same offset to the underline object.
