OLE OBJECT PLOT ISSUES WITH PLOT TRANSPARENCY ON

Hi guys,

I got a drawing with an XREF attached that I want plotted faded so I use plot transparency. I also have an OLE object (Excel table) in my paperspace which for some reason plots as a negative (white text on a black background instead of vice versa). If I turn the plot transparency off the table prints correctly but the XREF is not faded. Any ideas what might help ? Thanks.

Sorry this doesn't answer your problem.
But one of the biggest draw backs to OLE is the unpredictable plotting behavior.

I would suggest bringing excel in as a linked table. Better still, since table handle cell formula why not start there?

I gave up trying and printed the table to pdf and attached the .pdf which plots fine. I am just curious why the original way doesn't work

Because OLE have an inherint limitation in ACAd which includes plotting.
