It could a graphics card issue. When ever I use object viewer and the label layout view that shows a preview of the intelligent label I am creating, the system shuts off; not just the software, the whole system. This system has worked well for over a year with several Adsk civil apps including C3D 2k5. When I introduced the 2k6 version of C3D, that did it. It has also infected my Land Desktop 2005. Here are the specs:
HP Pavillion Notebook ZD7000
P4 2.66 ghz, 1.25gb RAM
64MB Nvida Geforce4 448 Go
60GB HD w/ 45 GB free
I just bought a ZD8000 3.2 ghz, 2GB RAM, etc. It works fine on this system. Trying to pass down the old system but can not give it to my associate in this manner.
I think I have tried almost everything and probably things I should not have tried. Can't seem to find any updated drivers. Any ideas?
