Object Viewer - 2d wireframe

All,

I am trying to view a surface in object viewer using the 2d wireframe visual style (the default visual style that pops up in object viewer before it automatically changes to another visual style). I cannot seem to find away to switch the visual style back. I've tried creating a new visual style, but it does not have the same setting options that the default 2d wireframe has. I've attached two images showing what the 2d wireframe looks like before it switches to the other visual style. I am using AutoCAD Civil 3d 2013.

Its not in the Visual style, but the Surface Style.

Edit your Surface Style to show Contours instead of Triangles when you go to Model .

(It's going to be something like that... I don't have Civil 3D open right now to get more specific.)
