Object Enabler won't install for Civil 3D 2012

Hello! Hoping someone can help.

I've been having issues recently installing Object Enabler for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 on a few machines. I downloaded the installer from the AutoDesk website, but when running,  it comes up and says it can't find any install of Civil 3D 2012..

Currently have AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 and it's object enabler installed... Also have AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 installed but can't get the OE to install for it. Running the 64bit shows nothing to install to, and the 32 bit installation only shows an option for "Language Pack".

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

Why would you want install C3D object enablers on a machine that has C3D installed?

Doesn't the object enabler need to be installed to view aerial images that are put in the drawings? Brandon

Hi,

>> Doesn't the object enabler need to be installed to view aerial images

At least not the Civil3D-object-enabler. By default you can use areal images using command _MAPIINSERT or _MAPCONNECT without any object-enabler.

In older version of Civil3D you needed the >>>object-enabler for RasterDesign<<< to get files of type ECW insertable (referenced).
