I have null structures that represent pipe ends for patching segments of sanitary sewer pipe. The structures appear fine in plan view. They however, do not appear in the profile for this particular utility. My layers for the plan, model, and profile at the structural style object level are correct. The layers are on for the objects and not frozen or off for the acad layers. I thought that maybe an over-ride for the style in profile view was in effect, it is not. I checked the null objects and they are using the correct structural style, and the style is correctly listed in the profile view for pipe networks. I need the null structures to annotate the pipe inverts for the reconstruction work I'm doing. Any thoughts as to why the null structures would not display in the profile view?
Thanks

I have the profile view objects on in the structure style. I swapped the null structure for a cylindrical structure, to see if the structure would show up in the profile, and it did. Is it possible that the Null structure is corrupt? How can I replace the Null structure in this drawing? The work around is to use the cylindrical structure, annotate it and turn off the object in the profile view and plan directions.

I have noticed this problem as well, using 2014. It doesn't occur in every profile, just seemingly random ones. I have never had to use a block symbol in profile view for Null Structures before. Even importing a Null Structure style from a file that DOES show them in profile view does not help.
It is most aggravating where pipes intersect (e.g. a wye connection) and I need to see the Structure Pipe Outlines to make sure all inverts are hunky-dory.
This was solved in another thread.
I'm just checking in to see if you need more help with this. Did the thread that @beccajolovejoy provided work for you?

I'm not sure. I'd haven't come across this issue in some time. I'll keep it in mind though.
