I need some explanation, or at least reinforcement that I am not out of my
mind.
So you have a note label, one of those new fangled 2007 multipurpose styles
(awesome by the way)
And you can reference a profile! Awesome.
I currently also use Notes to give my profile views a nice big readable name
(referencing the parent alignment name) on defpoints. This helps be
navigate between profiles without having to squint at my "pretty" profile
view title.
Yet, when you add things like profile station and elevation, it never gives
you a change to tell it anything, and it doesn't "read" where you click.
So are these references above and beyond "Alignment Name" "Profile Name" etc
completely meaningless outside of the context of say, and Alignment Station
and Offset label with a reference? I tried a few others, and only the really
general stuff worked, like station range, length and type of profile.
Here is another question- why are their profile view references listed along
with the profile references? it never asks nor seems to care what profile
view I am in.
Ironically, as I was just playing with this as i typed, it crashed while
trying to exit the note label composer.
