i need to verify a point on the drawing and all i have are the northing and easting coordinates. however, they look weird to me and i can't get the line command to work using them. they are:

easting 173,606.4123

northing 222,309.0474

i've seen northing/easting points in the for of, but not like these.

How can i enter these?

Northing is Y, Easting is X. You're simply entering a coordinate. You can create a point with the point creation tools, or you can draw a line from X,Y to some arbitrary location. Or, if you want to entre them by northing/easting, you can use the 'NE transparent command. There are many, many ways that you can verify this point.

The thousands comma separator is a bit unusual in my experience.....try typing in as 173606.4123 and 222309.0474
