New Forum Look

Will whoever changed the Forum please grab something sharp and play with it on the freeway?

Ha ha. Seriously, put it back the way it was, please.

Missing:
1. Post count under Avatar
2. Indicator of threads I posted in
3. Column for number of new posts since I last checked

In general, I don't like change that improves nothing. I particularly don't like purposelessly moving buttons around to make a page look "changed".

Since I'm not a completely sour person, I do like that the default color for new messages is black, instead of the light grey it used to be.

Hi Dave, for numbers one and two, just hover over the poster's name and you'll see his/her posting data.

No one thinks you're completely sour, just mostly. Haha. You set yourself up for that one!

Hey, by the way, I have some of those old DCA manual binders with the earth on the front. If you want one, email me your address. Don't know if I still have it from when I sent the manuals.

Tim,

What I meant by the indicator-of-threads-I-have-a-post-in is the icon with a check mark next to threads that showed whether I had "skin in the game".

"Just mostly"? My wife would agree with the "completely sour" description.  SmileyWink.gif

Hi Dave,

Unfortunately when some thing get changed for the better some seem to go wrong. One highly requested change was the more visible icon for posts with accepted solutions. Now it's nice and visible. Also the black text was another one.

But some things are now gone that shouldn't be. Those need to be addressed.

Just wanted to confirm that the removal of the user stats and indicator icons was not by design and we are currently looking into the necessary fixes.

I'm also creating a use case for restoring the # of new posts column and will keep you posted as to what comes out of it.

Thanks for the feedback!
