network loading

I have a network license for Civil 3D. Need to install license manager. It won't load because of 2006 already loaded. Can I edit the file that is already there, or does it need to be uninstalled in order for the new one to load properly?

It's usually best to use the latest LMTOOLS that ships with the software. i
would uninstall LMTOOLS 2006 and install 2007. You can use the old license
file and add your new 2007 Civil 3D license to it.
