Mysterious Symbol in middle of drawing

I created a new title block drawing and for some reason a symbol popped up in the middle of it. I can't click on it or figure out why it's there.

Anyone know how to get rid of it?

Add this to your acaddoc.lsp and never be troubled by it again......

Sadly, although I've customized my menus plenty, I've never worked with LSP files.

It's not tough.....create a new text document in Notepad. Add this line of text to it:

(setvar 'GEOMARKERVISIBILITY 0)

save the file as acaddoc.lsp in your Autocad support path (one of the paths listed under Support File Search Path on the Files tab in Options).

If you find a response which answers your question, please be sure to accept the actual post which helped you as the solution. This will help future searchers quickly find answers to their own questions. Thanks!

You'll need endquotes as well i.e.extract from mine....

(princ "\nMy acaddoc.lsp is loading....")
(setvar "filedia" 1)
(setvar "geomarkervisibility" 0)
(princ "\nMy acaddoc.lsp has been loaded successfully")

No, you don't. Either way works:

(setvar 'geomarkervisibility 0)

(setvar "geomarkervisibility" 0)
