Moving multiple lines to a spline

Hi guys 

 

I need help, i have a bunch of short lines i want to move to a line that is not vertical or horizontal, the line have a bit of a curve. 

What command can i use to move these lines?

Welcome to the forums.

 

Other than the Move command I don't know because I don't know what you're trying to accomplish. There are different ways to Move lines using the Move command or using Grips. But I have a feeling that you're looking for something else.

 

Can you give a more detailed explanation of what you want? It also helps to tell us the version of Civil 3D you're using.

By "move" do you mean turn these straight lines into a curvy line? If so, use Pedit command and join the lines into a polyline, then use Pedit to Spline fit or Fit curve.

 

If by "move" you mean you want to move the lines along a curve, use the Rotate command.

 

Maybe you can post a sketch of what you're actually trying to do.
