Move Pipe Network Structure Label

C3D 2008

Label moves from the structure insertion point, not the base point picked on the screen

Open the GSG_pipe_networks.dwg
Add a structure label to the plan view
Turn Othro on
Grip the label and move it 30 units east of the structure
Start the Move command
Select a base point
Select the displacement as 30 units south of the base point
Label is placed 30 units south of the structure, not 30 units east and 30 units south

In the attached image the label should be in sync with the cursor.

Thanks,

Charles

I've never used the move command on a label. I select the label and move it with the provided grip. Never had a problem.

That's because you know the method is to actually move it by grips, not
the command. This is why it's not following the cursor.

Ortho is on AND you're in the move command, Charles. Use your grips instead.
