Modifying Pipe Networks

I have drawn a pipe network for a sanitary sewer line and i wanna adjust the flowline elevation of the entire system to match that of an existing manhole that i am connecting to.  how do i adjust the entire system as a whole rather than individually adjusting each pipe section and structure?

Select the pipes to adjust. Use the Acad MOVE command, use the displacement option to move by 0,0,changeinelevation.

old thread I know but since it is here and in the first that comes up in my search I think it is also worth noting that you don't want to grab and move the entire network, only the pipes.

I had a datum change on a project and thought it would recognice my surface shift...it does not.
