Missing Icons on Ribbon (AutoCad Civil 3D 2010)

Some of the icons, thus their respective commands, on my Ribbon strip have disappeared. Also some of the palettes on the "Tool Palettes" are missing. I have tried to both repair and reinstall the program from scratch and have been unsuccessful. I tried to remove the program using the "Add or Remove Programs" from my Control Panel. The AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 program is no longer listed on the "Add or Remove Programs" list but the AutoCAD Civil 3D program is still working fine but with the missing icons and palettes as mentioned above. Can someone tell me how to fix the Riboon and Tool Palette.
