mill & overlay subassembly question

we're redoing a road by milling and overlaying. the cross slope of the pavement varies quite a bit. they want to leave the cross slope the way it is if it's 4% or less. anything more than 4% they want to bring up to 4%. is there a subassembly that will do that? i'm using 2009. thanks.

Look at the OverlayMillAndLevel2 subassembly - I don't think it does everything you want, but it might get you close. Pay careful attention to the slope tolerance - if you couple that with a conditional subassembly, it might just work.

If you have Civil 3D 2010, or 2011 you do.

If memory serves correctly, they were downloadable for the 2009 release...this stuff runs together sometimes.

Alan Gilbert cover this at AU 2010 and offered some NOOTB assemblies in the data set files: "ASmooth Approach to Roadway Rehab and Widening" http://au.autodesk.com/?nd=class&session_id=7091
