Menu utilities error: malformed list on input

I'm getting this error in the middle of launching Civil 3D2014 x64 hotfix1 from the uncustomized Civil 3D 2014 Imperial icon (see command history):

Civil 3D appears to run o.k., no error messages upon opening a drawing...

Any ideas what to check?

TIA,

Randy

There is a LISP file that AutoCAD is trying to load which contains an error.

Probably a 3rd party LISP that is loading from within:

acad.lsp

acaddoc.lsp

LISP wihtin a CUIX

MNL file

Startup Suite

Hi Matt.

I know what the error means, I was hoping someone would be able to pin down the error location from its position in the -on loading- command history. I don't thinks there are any 3rd party lisps loading -- I used the default Civil 3D icon with the  " /p "<<C3D_Imperial>>"  target.

I can load both acad2014.lsp (unmodified) and acaddoc.lsp (heavily edited) without error:

<clip>

Command: APPLOAD
acad2014.lsp successfully loaded.
acaddoc.lsp successfully loaded.

Command:

<clip>

acad2014doc.lsp is unmodified.

no custom cuix's or mnl's.

Thanks,

Randy

I would start looking at the acad.mnl file. That's where the error is listed... That being said, I installed the Hotfix and do not experience this issue.
