Material shape styles - disappearing from Section Views

I'm using shape outline styles for corridor "structures" materials list  to depict my cross section material shapes in section views. After creating the materials list everything looks fine until I exit the file, re-open or try to plot it using Sheet Set Manager. All shape outlines disappear randomly & if regenall is ran after opening xs.dwg the shapes will reappear.

Seems like the shapes should stay put but I'm getting this in all xs.dwg's for all my alignments.

Anyone have similar issues & any ideas or solutions?

-Attached Sec view 1 .jpg shows how section should look & Sec view 2 shows the disappearing issue.

Again with regenall the shapes usually reappear so the biggest dileema is the inability to do multiple plots & there are many sheets to plot  but there are also times when the materials list stops dsplaying & only way to get it back is recreate the materials list.

Thanks,

Jay

is this just a video card issue?   Do they still plot correctly?

Dan,

They plot just like sec view 2.jpg, they will plot correctly but only if I actually open the xsec dwg & run the "Regenall" command. Upon open they look like sec view 2.

So when plotting with SSM the Regenall doesn't happen so they all plot incorrectly.

Thanks,

Jay

It seems that references are either not synchronizing or the issue with graphic display. Run Synchronize Reference from Manage ribbon and also run REFRESHSHORTCUTNODE command. Also please try following:

  1. Command line type 3DCONFIG
  2. Click on manual Tune
  3. Check “Enable Hardware Acceleration”

Almas,

Thanks for the reply, I tried all of your suggestions. Hardware acceleration - ON.

Tried 3 combinations of the refresh shortcutnode & synchronize references & while it forces my corridor shapeoutlines to apear while in my Sxec source dwg, when I save, exit & reopen thedwg they are not displayed until I regenall, refreshshortcutnode or sync data ref's again.

Seems they should stay displayed as shapes but for whatever reason that's not the case.

So I'm unable to run any multiple plots as it doesn't t refreshed i any of above ways using SSM page setup  overrides to plot etc.

May be worth noting that I'm xrefing the corridor from my Alignment source dwg which contains my Alignments, Proiles, Assemblies and the Corridor. The shape outlines tha are causing the display issues are "structure" type materials shapes of my various corridor "material names".

Thanks,

Jay
