Maintaining Targets when Replacing Subassembly

I am developing a set of custom subassemblies for our company.  Most of them have various offset & elevation targets.

With C3D 2015, when you replace a subassembly with targets, from what I've seen online I was under the impression that the program would prompt you to maintain similar targets between the old subassembly and the new one.

I've not been able to ever get the dialogue box to come up with that option, even when replacing the standard subasseblies that come with the program.

It is very annoying to have to fix all targets on custom subassemblies when I make a minor change to fix a code or something (I have the exact same targets in the old and new subassemblies).

Is there a variable or something to turn this on and have the program give me the option to keep the same targets?
