lock alignment data to pipe network

is it possible to lock an alignment to a pipe network, so that if you move a structure, the alignment moves with it?

along those same lines, when you create an alignment from a pipe network, is it possible to auto assign the reference alignment to the pipe parts, so that labels come out correctly?

this would be a huge help for land development projects where our focus is utility design

Or even the other way around.

The simple answer is no, you cannot link an alignment to the network. Alignments must be manually synchronized to edits to the pipe network.

Connnecting of pipes and alignments is, under my opinion, one of the most questionable features of C3D pipe network design.
