Listing the XYZ coordinates of points in a table,

Listing the XYZ coordinates of points in a table,

I couldn’t figure out how the XYZ coordinates of the points laying in the horizontal curve can be listed in a table the same way we do in the AutoCAD (attached)

Thank you

Best

Jamal

If these are civil points then just create a points table - on the annotation ribbon I think......

You can generate a list of coordinates at intervals along an alignment from toolbox tab in the Prospector, but if you want a table within the drawing then you'll have to create cogo points along the alignment then a table from them.

You can use the "Create Points - Alignments" to create points at geometry points (see attached) and then create a point table.

Thank you very much guys for the help,

  1. The points are cogo (attached)
  2. The “extract data” command introduces no options to list the XYZ coordiantes in the table (attached)

What other alternative do I still have to list the XYY coordinates of the Cogo points in a table?

As I previously suggested create a points table (Civil Points are not exposed to the Data Extraction tools)

Jamal,

Forgive my inability to understand, but what exactly are you trying to do? Do you want a Report or a Table in the drawing? When you say "XYZ", do you mean Northing, Easting, and Elevation; or do you mean XYZ as in ECEF (Earth-Centered Earth Fixed)?
