Link between baselines

I know I have asked something similar before but I am curious how you would handle the following scenario (See attached.)

The attached is an interchange. The circle is a roundabout below a freeway above. You then have ramps (2 to a direction).
From the circle to the ramps are blank space that I would simply like to grade (link). How would you do this?

Depending on how you put together you Assemblies and corridor it may be
possible to use a marked point and a link to mark point sub-assembly to tie
those together. If you put up a screen shot of the corridor regions and
baselines then I would have a better idea.

You could also not daylight with the subassembly and export the edge as a
feature line and use grading.

Thanks for the input so far.

Link to a marked point has to be part of the same assembly as the marked point which considering the shape of the output that would not be possible. I would like to put my vote in for having the ability to link from one assembly to another.

Peter, I figured that exporting the feature line is the way to go but I am curious if that is the only way to go or if anyone has or could come up with a better (more dynamic) system.

I am with you on that request Josh. It would extend what we are able to do
with corridors to a whole different level.

In the early 1980's, remember the 286, 386's? I was designing twinned hwys with a DOS software called EMXS (now emxsacad) that would design both roadways and allow them to tie to each other to form a median. It was a very simple process.

I haven't had time to try out all the various assemblies possible in C3D, I've only used the basic C3D rd subassemblies so far but it looks like there are a lot of very capable sub-assemblies available. There must be some that does the same as I described above.

Please tell me I'm right.
