Linetype Display Issue on Segmented Polylines

I'm having trouble getting certain linetypes to display/print correctly when applied to segmented polylines as shown below.

Basically, many of the linetypes containing breaks appear properly when applied to a straight line or arc, but many or all of the breaks are eliminated when applied to a polyline (the problem gets worse as the polyline becomes smoother, i.e. shorter segments). I've experimented with various combinations of LTSCALE, PSLTSCALE, and MSLTSCALE to no avail (all three variables were set to 1 for the plot shown). Attached is a .lin file with a couple of my linetype definitions, if that helps. Thanks!

Try to select each polyline and then go into properties and change "Linetype generation" to "Enabled".
