Line properties from old version

Help Please!
I opened an old drawing with Civil 3D and I am trying to change the line properties i.e hidden, line weight.... and non seems to work/change. Do I have to convert the drawing to a recent version or what do I do.

You may want to look into the new system variable MSLTSCALE.

Command MSLTSCALE works but may I ask how the scale works? cause when I do this, the dimension changes for sll lines I apply it to.

Set it to zero if you do not want the lines to scale set it to 1 if you want
them to scale as per the annotation scale.

..............and if you're changing LT scale for individual objects, for
pete's sake, are you sure you really want to do that?

MSLTSCALE is NOT a per-object setting. A bit of reading up on LTSCALE and
related settings may well be in order.
