Line By Angle - End Point (.P / .N / .G)

I have just migrated from LDT 2006.
I am building a traverse in 2008 building lines by angle.
It give me the option to specify and Endpoint or (.P / .N / .G):
I have no idea what p, n or g stand for...

Any help is appreciated.

Use help, and check out Transparent, using Transparent Commands.
P = point number
N = Northing / Easting
G = Graphical Selection

Bill,
Thank you and I will write back and let you know how it works out. We had looked in help at some of the line commands, but not in the transparent commands.

These same commands are very useful in LDD, so if you are still using LDD
they come in quite handy.
Good Luck

I am building a traverse from scratch and I have my two known points established by my data collector (points 1 and 2) I now want to turn a angle setup at point #1 and back sighting point # 2, the first angle I turn doesn't show up on the screen. The following lines that are created show up fine and it also ask me for .P.N.G and I typically would enter .P for point, but what exactly is it doing for me, it just continues to the next angle. I need a little help, I am supposed to be the genius with AutoCAD here in the office (boy is everyone in trouble). I am just not familiar with 2008, thanks.
