Lighting up grips when selecting point group

HI,

when selecting a point group from the prospector tab, sometimes the point grips will light up and sometimes only the points will be only dashed.

Having the grips light up like that is very useful when viewing a region with many point groups.

How do I toggle this on and off?

Probably the GRIPOBJLIMIT sysvar, it's initial value is 100 so if you have 101 or more points the grips won't display. Here's the help description:

Suppresses the display of grips when the selection set includes more than the specified number of objects. The valid range is 0 to 32,767. For example, when set to 1, grips are suppressed when more than one object is selected. When set to 0, grips are always displayed.
