The template acad.dwt contains a text style called Legend (the font is Calibri) ... does anyone know where in the template it is used? Thanks...

Does Civil 3D 2010 automatically install the Calibri font on Windows XP, since many of those systems do not have that font?

All I know is on my XP system is that the font is there, now if Civil3D 2010
installed it or if Map3D2010 did or if something else did is another
question.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but in case anyone is trying to remove the Legend textstyle, these are the steps you can take to do so:

  • Type TABLESTYLE
  • Right-click on 'Legend' and rename it to anything else.
  • Close the tablestyle dialog box.
  • Retype TABLESTYLE
  • Delete the renamed 'Legend' tablestyle.
  • Type STYLE
  • Delete 'Legend' textstyle.

The tablestyle 'Legend' is what Map 3d uses when creating a Map legend.  It seems Map is hard-coded to use 'Legend', because even when it is removed, if you use Map's "Create Legend" command, it recreates the 'Legend' tablestyle.

We don't ever use Map, and it feels really good to start with a clean template, finally.

Thanks so much for finally answering the question. It was worth the two-year wait!
