Layer Manager - window absent & freezes 3D

Pls help:
My layer manager window will not appear with either the button nor the short hand commands. At the prompt it totally freezes 3D until I "ESC" out of the command. Otherwise, 3D appears to be functioning properly. Pls help. Layer manager is vital to working 😞 ...thanks.

How long have you let it go?

Have you had two monitors connected recently, and now back to one?

One trick that might work is extending your desktop over both monitors.
This option should be available to you in your desktop display properties.

If not, then it might be a matter of swapping which monitor is your primary one.

..."to help elevate my CD crashing"...

Typo of the year nomination.

I don't think it's crashing, although it does appear to be. I think your
layer manager dialog is showing up off your screen.

Try Nathan's suggestion. If that doesn't do it, I'll have to do some
searching. I think I found a description of how to 'fix' it, but I honestly
have no recollection of what it was. (I seem to remember finding something
on the net.)

Alt+SpaceBar, hit the M key, arrow right or left and the layer manager should snap to the mouse.

Nathan!
You are AWESOME!!!

Your suggestion of switching the primary monitors around worked!!! I have the primary on the left and the secondary on the right! And now I have my Layer Manager back and working! Thank YOU!!!!

Excellent tip! Thanks, Christopher.

(I think I still owe you a drawing to play with, huh? Slope issue)
