layer manager getting rid of xrefs

In my layer properties manager. If I insert an xref I get all kinds of extra layers. I have to scroll through a long list.  How can I create a filter to not display these?

I created a new Filter, called it ThisDrawing, and entered this:

~*|*

for the Layer Name. I added this to my DWT so I never have to think about it again.

You can pick the XREF on the left window. Then at the bottome on the left check the box "Invert selection"

By using that you can switch between the x-ref layers or the drawing layers
