layer isolate/fading of background

Is there a way in c3d 08 to change the layer isolate command to make the non selected layers disappear instead of just fading into the background? Thanks

start the command then type S for settings (it always pays to pay
attention to the command line) - those settings will allow you to type O
for off, which will turn the non-isolated layers off instead of dimming
them.

To anyone who want's to go back to R2007 function:

Envoke the layiso command then Settings and change from lock & fade to off and off in paperspace vports.

As of r2016 the LAYISO command no longer has a settings variable. The LAYLOCKFADECTL variable can be used to fade other layers as much as 90%, but not completely.

I am still struggling to figure out how to make other layers disappear completely instead of fading and locking.

I'm using 2018.  When I type LAYISO, then S, it give the options to be "Off" and "Lock and fade".  If you hit "Off", it turns it off completely.  "Lock and fade" gives you the option of a percent fade.

I am seeing it now. I don't know why it wasn't coming up for awhile. I am working with a fresh install, and seeing it now. Thanks!
