last crash affected my mouse/keyboard functions

......something happened duriing my last crash.

At first I thought it was a keyboard/mouse issue but I'm on my third set and I have having the same problems. The reason I thought this was because I first started noticing a problem when my U (undo) key didn't seem to be working then the delete key. Both keys work outside of Civil 3D. Here's a list of other issues......

1) When I select an object I can no longer see which layer the object is on in my ribbon/layer (see attachment-you can see the SS line is selected but it is showing layer 0, it should show E-SSWR-MAIN)

2) I no longer get acivil 3d menu when I select an object then right click (i've fooled with all the settings in my options but no change in menu)

3) I can no longer select and object then perform a command. For example I used to be able to select and object then hit the delete button. I now have to enter E in the command line then select the object to erase it.

I'm sure its a setting somewhere but I need help finding it. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Sounds like PICKFIRST sys. variable may have gotten reset. Set it to 1 & see if that helps.

add this variable as  well as FILEDIA=1 to your accadoc.lsp file and never be troubled by it again.
