Hi All
I need a transitional subassembly right and left sides with 5 layers each able to be set at different depths.
I need the edge of carriage way point to be as the std UK transitional lane. Change offset and grade, hold grade change offset, etc.
The layers and there default depths are as follows
Surface 40mm
Binder 60mm
Base 125mm
Sub base 225mm
Capping 200mm
I have been trying to create this in SAC to no avail.
I have modelled the corridor with the UK stock transitional lane but need more information.
Any help appreciated.
Evan

What kind of problems have you run into? Can you post a pkt file? (When you upload a pkt file, rename it so the extension is ZIP).
Maybe post a screen shot of what you're seeing that tells you it didn't work.

Are you wanting to transition the widths and cross slopes of the lanes or are you wanting to to transition the thickness of the subgrade layers? I think you'll need to provide some clarification.
A sketch showing what you're trying to do is usually helpful for this type of question.

As was mentioned by Joe, some of the subassemblies that come with the product are desigend to stretch to a target element such as an edge of pavement alignment. One such subassembly is the Laneoutsidesuper subassembly.
Each subassembly has a help link associated with it that explains it's capabilities and parameters. So if you see one that has enough pavement layers, examine it's help file to see if it can stretch to a target.
Hi,
Try this subassembly devloped in SAC 2013
Rename it to .pkt after before importing into Civil 3d.
