Labels Style is most stupid thing

Hi all,

Only answer mine question: is it possible see labels in normal size in both
view (model and layout ws) at same time?
Most new SW in market and can’t make simple thing, as example labels in
model view let be in static size (ease to read) and in layout at size which
you want to print.
I think very soon, I will kick this SW throw the window and back to GIS
systems where ten years ago thaey make possibilities that you can manage
labels how you want.

WBR,
kkk

It was a good idea gone terribly wrong, IMO. The programmers seem to have
done some really nice work, but headed somewhat in the wrong direction with
some of this stuff........maybe too many programmers and engineers and not
enough 'cadd guys' in the decisions room.

Regen?
I'm honestly not sure what you're looking for. We put in one label in
MS, when viewed through a VP, it reacts to the VP scale, and sizes
accordingly.

Just curious, have you gotten any training on C3D?

Drawing scale is 1:500.
In layout VP Scale 1:500
Page setup Plot scale 1:1
Map sheet A4
And everything what I want is point label text size 2 mm in layout.
thank you in advance.

OK, so are your labels set up to be 2mm? I'm still lost on what you're
seeing that isn't how you would like it.

I use these settings: drawing general scale 1:500 (edit drawing scale),
layout scale 1:500 (viewport scale), label style text size 2mm, sheet A4,
plot scale 1:1 and mine labels are micro size in layout view.
Can you try to use everything with in metric system?

P.S mine self I found something, that when I set drawing scale 1:1, looks
everything ok.

I have noticed when changing viewport scale that I have to switch the viewport to modelspace and regen before the labels display at the proper size.
Maybe that will help in your drawing.

I'm afraid I still don't see your problem.

Exactly what do you see where, and what do you expect to see? If I can't
follow, I'd bet the deskers can't either.

I can make print screens, only say where and what setings I must to input?
A second problem: all labels layers off, but in plot preview it's show and
off course are printed why I can not understand.
Thank you for support.

Try setting your layout scale to 1:1 and instead of doing a model space zoom
of 1XP it should be 1/500XP. Should bring everything up to the right scale
except for your linetypes. For that, set PSLTSCALE to 0 then REGENALL show
the results.
