Labeling Structures in a Network

I am labeling structures in a network on the profile view.  I cannot get the leader when i drag the label to anchor to the top of the structure?  Is there a way to do this, i figured out how to have the label insert at the middle of the top line of the structure, but this is stumping me.

Any help is appreciated.

Here is one way to force the dragged state leader to the top of structure using toggle label pin.
