Label Station at Specific Elevation

Is there a way to label or list a station at a specific elevation? I know how to list and label an elevation at a given station but I need to know where a specific (given) elevation is located on an alignment or profile. I don't care if this is listed or labeled on the alignment or profile, I just need to be able to get a station at a given elevation.

thanks.

It may be possible, but I don't see it directly.  As a work around, you can create a temporary surface at the elevation in question add it to the profile view and you will visually see the intersecting point(s) that can be labeled

Suggest you draw a horizontal XLINE at your elevation, then add a label at the intersection between that and your profile.

Except that layout profiles don't generally work with Osnaps.

If you want to do this in plan. You could extract the 3D Chain from the profile [see this thread]. Then draw a polyline at the needed elevation and find the intersection with the chain. You may need to increase the chain tessellation to work in horizontal curves.

Or you can use [this] method to extract a featureline from the alignment and profile.

Yes. End, Mid, Nea Osanps work, but Int won't. So I would end up seeing where they intersect, then tracing over the profile with a couple of Nea Osnaps either side of the intersection. This gives something to snap to for the intersection.

I know it's not dynamic or fancy, but it works.
