LABEL NORTHING/EASTING

Is there a way to do a quick label of just northing
and easting...

If this requires one of them styles just say
"styles"...

I took the OP to be asking for a way to label a coordinate of any given
location (without a point), like with a general or line label style. The
only thing I've been able to figure out is to label the end of a line with a
coordinate (line label style). I'd still like a way to add a coordinate
label by just picking any location, rather than having to pick a line.

you want to investigate a general label
(note) with reference text (alignment).  You'll have to have an
alignment in your drawing (can be minscule and anywhere).

Wow, thank you Ron, that never even occurred to me. We'll definitely be
using that.

There's also nothing wrong with creating points & a new group if needed.

They're not just for surveyors anymore. 😉

Thanks to everone's response...

I had a feeling that it would have to be some type of style. Cathy has the
same idea and on my end it would be nice to simply pick any location for
basic construction requirements that I can put on paper and tell the
construction crew over the phone.

For those of you who role your eyes keep them rolling?

My concern with styles is you end up having to create one for every single
little bit of information that can be taken care of more effectively and
efficiently as was available in LDD (yes I said it). Can you imagine having
over 100 styles to chose from and then having to implement that with other
users.

I know arguments will be made so have at it!

I have a general note style that does this; I think I followed some advice
from one of the blogs off this list (Dana, maybe). It works great for me;
just have to keep an alignment somewhere in the drawing.

I would be willing to share it, if I knew how to transmit it.
