Please see attachment. There are two structure label styles in the attachment. The one on the bottom has the leader attached to the edge of the structure and the one on the top has the leader attached to the centre of the structure. How do I change the attachment point for the top label so the leader attaches to the edge of the structure as the bottom label does? Can't seem to find the parameter to change??
Any chance one of those two (top one) is just plain leader with turned off the leader visibility. In all versions I tried it points to the edge of the structure and no place to adjust it in the style settings. I guess, you got this far, too.

Is the problem manhole a block or a structure using a block reference? If it is a structure, is it only a hatch in the structure block? Also, as our friendly autodesk professional stated, it could be a generic label with reference text, which would update like it's supposed to and not be placed propperly.
Does the one pointing to the center have the point style set to none? Is the solid red circle a basic object, or apart of the point style?
For me, if the point style is set to none, then the point label will point to the actual point when in dragged state. If you set the point style to use that red circle as the point style, it would take into account that object and offset the leader head.
