HOW DO YOU LABEL ELEVATION OF FEATURE LINE ENDPOINT?  PRIOR TO CREATING A SURFACE?

IN LDD-  TERRAIN/  SURFACE UTILS/ LABEL SPOT ELEVATION-  WOULD LABEL AN ENDPOINT ON A 3D POLY-NOT ASSOC WITH A SURFACE.  VERY USEFUL WHEN  SITE GRADING?  ANY IDEAS?

You can use a general line label to label either the starting Z or ending Z of the line. You can create one style for the Start and choose the label location as the start and another for the end.
