I did a search and did not find anything, anyone know how to label the 3D length of a line.
Thanks
Terry
Jeff's solution is by far the easiest and fastest way in doing this. I have attached a video on a different method in getting 3D length. This is how we all learn from each other, right? Here's the link...

Ah equations. Who'd have thought one would ever need math as a draftsman? Funny how it seems that Autodesk is really testing our STEM curriculum these days....

Until they let us grap the overall starting z and ooverall ending z it ain't gonna happen OOTB. This has been one of my wishlist items.

Todd can you please reload this video.i think the link is broken.
Hi guys,
An alternative is to use the Field code in MTEXT. Enter the MTEXT editor and click on Field, in the dialogue box select Objects in Field Category, select Objects in the list of Field names, use the pick box to select the 3D poly, then select Length in Property. Okay. It should insert the length of the 3D poly, HOWEVER it does not update automatically. You have to regen for the length to update if you change the polyline.
I haven't test this with feature lines yet though
