Kudos to the C3D Team

Since I've been openly critical of Adesk at times, here, I think it's only
fair to offer much praise.

I've been through most of the styles, finally, and I have to compliment you
on the setup. A bit overwhelming at first, but you've thought of just about
everything. I was fully expecting to have to limit my drawing appearance to
actually be able to utilize Civil3D, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I've only found one minor thing I've had to compromise on, so far.

As to the interface, once you 'get it', it's quite nice and very flexible.
Tremendous job, IMO. I'll take overwhelming over limited any day. 😉

We're just starting to implement Civil 3D, on a limited basis, in our
office. I'm very much looking forward to it, now. I can't wait to see road
profiles, the way they 'should' be, without having to teach 30 people what
they 'should' look like.

Tom,
Since you have gone through the styles thoroughly, did you come up with a label style that could be used in conjunction with pipe network parts in different plan viewports? An example would be where you have a street intersection and you want to label a structure on two different sheets.

I hope you are following me on this and it is just a shot in the dark that you have a solution.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I probably should have clarified that I stopped prior to the piping
styles.

If I'm understanding you properly, you want basically a copy of the
annotation on each sheet, is that right?

If so, I'll have to apologize for having nothing, at this point. My only
thought is that it may be possible, with creative text placement/sheet
layout, to get that effect.

Pipes are certainly next on my list for the styles............I'll re-post
if I come across the solution.
