ITIFF image format

Hi, I have recently received several aerial images with a .iTIFF file extension. I was wondering if anyone else has tried to insert an iTIFF into a drawing and what the best way to do this. I can just delete the 'i' out of the extension and it works fine as a TIFF but the coordinate projection is off.

Is there a .tfw file along with the iTiff?

So I guess .iTIFF is a Bentley thing. If I convert it to a .tiff I can bring it in using mapiinsert command but the image comes in a bit off coordinates and a slightly different size as compared to what it comes in to in Microstation. The image also comes in mirrored.
