Is there a way to break survey figures in two?

Is there? I tried executing the BREAK command on a survey figure and it doesn't work.

OK, figured it out. Apparently I needed to use the BREAKFEATURES command instead of the BREAK command. Kudos to me 🙂

Thanks for this. Do you know if there is a way to automate this upon importing survey data?

That's easy just starting the same figure name will do that, yet there are many ways to accomplish it. I'd sincerely recommend starting a new thread vs continuing an old one you'll get better results.
