Is it possible to open an old drawing with a new template?
We switched from Map 3D to Civil 3D 2011. All of the drawings are from Map 3D 2011 I would like to open them with the new template I moade in order to have point styles and key descriptions already set. Is this possible?
1) Create drawing from new template. Insert the old drawing into new one via Insert Block.
2) Use the Prospector window to open the new template while in your old drawing. In Prospector, switch to the settings tab and expande your template. Drag and drop styles into old drawing straight fromt he prospector window as needed.
