Intersection - Curb Return Profiles

Hi all,

I have generated a curb return profile after designing an intersection.

However, I am struggling to simply label the incoming and outgoing gradients between vertical curves. I have used the profile label type 'Lines' and used it to tell me the tangent gradient. The output is always 0.00%. (see below). I have a feeling this is something to do with the fact that there is no physical tangent!

I am aware that there is depth labelling to give the gradient between point1 and point2 but that option is not available when labelling a curb return profile. I have found the grade in and grade out labels found under the vertical curves but this does not annotate PVI to PVI.

Frustrating! Please help!

regards

Hello,

I think you should check the visibilty of the text of the label, it must be TRUE.

good luck!

If there is no tangent, there will be no label. You could insert a very short, like .001, tangent and then Civil 3D will label it.

Or, your could simply label the Grade Out of the vertical curve. There need not be a tangent object.
