Inserting .sid images into civil 3d 2011

What do I need to do in order to insert .sid image files into civil 3d 2011 drawings?

Did you just try the _MAPIINSERT or _MAPCONNECT commands..?

If so, read this, perhaps it helps.

You need the Raster Object Enabler to see the file extension...

I downloaded and installed the program. Should mapinsert command work or what is the method for importing .sid images? William M. It's MAPIINSERT, or MAPCONNECT.  Notice that the MAPIINSERT has 2 I's.
