importing points, found bug

I may have done something strange or I found a pretty ugly bug.

Yesterday I imported points into C3D from a .txt file exported from a LD session. I spent a good part of the day creating point groups/styles in C3D for a majority of the points.

Today I went in to finish up and the points that I did not include in a group were gone, not there. I re-imported the .txt file (overwrite on) and there they are again, ready for me to include in groups. Am I missing something?

Did you check in the point group "All Points"?

That's automatic, and contains, oddly enough, all points.

I did.........

All of the points that I did not assign to a point group were gone. Strange very strange. I am really starting to appreciate the whole objects/styles/labels road we are going down but its these little quirky things that scare the hell out of me.

I've never seen that - if it's not too big, could you possily email me
the drawing and text file? I'd like to see what's going on here.

Thanks.

Files sent, let me know if you find anything strange. I have been poking around to see if I did something but can't find a logical user input/error that could have caused the points not in a group to just disappear.

something that i have done myself...
but you are probably not as lightheaded as me...

if you use the "Isolate Objects" command on a point group, it hides all of those points. (or isolates, whichever you pick)

DId you maybe isolate your point groups?

Do you see the little red light bulb in the bottom right side of your screen?

Another thing I have done...
"Master" Object Layers can be assigned to point groups. Did you maybe freeze/off the layer that the "all points" group is on?
